RECESS - January 11

Hi, Boys and Girls-Today is January 11. I hope you have your Junk Box ready because I have a fun craft for you today. We are going to make a snowman face that you can use as a puppet. Are you ready?

What You Need

  1. white paper plate

  2. some puffs of cotton

  3. white glue

  4. some scraps of colored paper

  5. 5. a popsicle stick, tongue depressor or any thing to use to hold the plate with your hand. You might try to use some newspaper rolled up if you want to. Many things will do.

What To Do

  1. Glue cotton balls onto the paper plate

  2. Cut out some shapes for the eyes and nose and a hat

  3. Glue them onto the paper plate head

  4. Staple or glue or tape the stick onto the bottom so you can hold it in your hand

  5. Have fun with your hand held puppet

I found this craft in a book called Arts and Crafts for All Seasons published by The Education Center Inc.

See you tomorrow with more fun. Email me with some of your ideas for things to do JLResource@aol.com.
