RECESS - January 24

Hi, Boys and Girls-Today is January 24. It is cold where I live and I am getting ready to drive up to the snow. There is no snow here near my town, but if I drive about three hours there is lots of beautiful snow and lots of places to ski. It is called Lake Tahoe. Look on the map and see if you can find Lake Tahoe.

Here is a picture for you to color of a mom and son going to the snow. They are dressed very warmly. You must do this if you want to have fun in the snow. You should have gloves, boots, something over your hair, and most important-warm socks and waterproof boots. It is no fun if your toes are freezing!
