RECESS April 4

Hi, Boys and Girls-Today is April 4 and I have some great Haiku for you. Remember, Haiku is that beautiful Japanese style of poetry that takes related or seasonal words and makes them into poems with the pattern 5-7-5. That means the first line has five syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has 5 syllables. That is syllables, not words, remember. First, here is mine, then here are some from my fourth grade group. Try your own from our word list and email me your best one.
