RECESS April 7

Hi, Boys and Girls. Today is April 7 and I have a cool book review for you today. This book is by Rosemary Wells and it is called Bunny Cakes. I met Rosemary Wells at a book signing and bought 7 of her wonderful books. I will review some of them for you this month. If you scroll down you can see the cover and the darling illustrations (ill us tray shuns).

This story is about Max and his sister Ruby. They are bunnies. Max was going to help Ruby make a cake for their Grandmas birthday but every time Max tries to help Ruby he spills, breaks or mess up something. Ruby keeps sending him to the store but Max wants to buy something else besides the eggs, milk, flour and other stuff Ruby sends him for. He has a special surprise in mind for Grandma.
