RECESS April 13

Hi, Boys Hi, Boys and Girls-Today is April 13 and I have another review for you of a book by Rosemary Wells. Since it is Spring and Easter is getting closer, I will also be reading her books on my TV show because the ones I really like are about two bunnies named Max and Ruby and they have super adventures. The story today is called Max’s Chocolate Chicken and if you scroll down you will see the page from the book that she autographed (au toe graf t) for the children who watch my TV show.

This story is about little Max the Bunny who finds a yummy chocolate chicken that the Easter Bunny left behind. His sister Ruby says that whoever finds the most Easter eggs in the hunt gets the chocolate chicken to eat but all poor Max can find are acorns, mud and ants.

Read the book to find out what he does and what happens to Ruby at the end of the story. The illustrations (ill us tray shuns) are just beautiful. You will fall in LOVE with Max. See you tomorrow-Mrs. L.
