RECESS April 25

 

Hi boys and girls - well what a time we are having. We went to Stratford on Avon, the birth place of a most famous writer, William Shakespeare. Here is a picture of some of the books they had on sale there

We visited the cottage of his wife to be, Anne Hathaway. Here is a picture of me in the lovely garden outside the cottage. The cottage was built a long time ago and has been in the family since about the middle 1500's, that for 450 years - a long time to own a house.

Finally we went to Broadway, a neat village were most of the houses and shops are made from a special stone, called Cotswold stone. They all have the same sandy color. Some kids were riding their ponies in the town.

 I also looked for books to read on the show and found two great books in Village Book Shop in Broadway
