RECESS May 22

Hi, boys and Girls-today is May 22. Some of you said you liked the Human Body Riddles that I put up last week from the Human Body Riddle Book so I thought I would give you some more. The book is written by Maria Fleming and published by Scholastic. Here we go:

Riddle Number 1

A crane’s a mighty mover, lifting steel, pipes, and crates.

Like a crane, we lift and pull and carry heavy weights.

What are we?

Riddle Number 2

When you breathe in, we fill with air.

Like two balloons, we are a helpful pair.

What are we?

Riddle Number 3

After you swallow, where does food go?

It ends up in me.

Didn’t you know?

Just like a blender, I churn food around,

Mashing it up and breaking it down.

What am I?

Tune in tomorrow for the answers. Mrs. L.
