RECESS October 28

Hi Boys and Girls-I have another super Halloween book for you today and a Jack-O-Lantern picture for you to color. If you are a new reader, perhaps you don’t know about the CLIFFORD stories. There are more than 25 stories all about Clifford, the Big Red Dog. He has some funny adventures and is always in trouble but no one can be mad at him because he is so cute.

Our story today is "Clifford’s First Halloween" by Norman Bridwell. It is published by SCHOLASTIC INC.

At this time Clifford was so little, his owner put a tissue over him and let him go out Trick-Or-Treating as a little ghost. (We all know how much bigger Clifford gets late, right!)They had fun and then when they got home, Daddy was carving a pumpkin. Nosey Clifford falls into it, gets all stuck up in a candy apple, gets scared by a skeleton, and scares everyone else when he ……Oh, do, I am not going to tell you how he scares all of the kids at the party. You have to read the book.
