About Making the TV Show

I am the host of the show, that is I am the person you see on TV. In fact the show has a crew of six or seven people. All of them are volunteers. They work on the show with me because they think it is a good show and they care about reading in the same way I do. Two of the camera crew are students at West Valley College, the other camera man is sometimes my son and sometimes a great guy named Ed who is the best camera man around. He helps us on his own time because he really likes the show. Scot and Scotty, our camera guys help us on their own time too. All they ask is that I give them some good food to eat while they work with the filming. They are nice boys but they sure eat a lot.

We have a good time when we film the show. When we have kids as guests it is very special and we really enjoy it. Filming our show is a lot of fun. Sometimes people come into the studio just to watch us because it is so much fun.

Tessa McGoldrick is the director of our show. She is the very best. In fact she is the coordinator of all of the shows on KSAR. She directs our show on her own time also because she thinks it is very worthwhile. The show is produced by my husband, Bill. That is a very hard job. Sometimes he is a puppet too but I won't tell you which one. My son Billy is mostly a camera man, sometimes the sound man and sometimes the "tech" guy and sometimes he is even a puppet too. You can guess which one he is if you watch the show and E-mail (Feedback) me your guess.
