Mrs. L's Reading Tips
Here are some tips on
what you can do to help yourself read
Point to the words 
Check the picture (if there is one) 
Get your mouth ready to sound out the word 
Look for chunks, such as:
Reread the word 
Slide to the end of the word (can you make that out?)
Think, "Does it make sense?" 
Read to the end and come back 
Self-correct
