Review:
Donald is
in trouble. He can’t think of a gift to give Daisy for her Birthday. And to
make matters worse, he thinks Gladstone Gander, his rival for Daisy’s
affection (That means the other guy who wants to be Daisy’s boyfriend.) is
going to get something really spectacular (spek TAK u lur) for her. He asks his
nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, what to do but they are no help at all.
Just then,
he looks up and sees Gladstone Gander walking by. He decides to follow him to
see what he is getting for Daisy. Gladstone spots Donald, and to tease him he
goes to all the expensive (That means the stores that cost lots of money$$$.)
stores. Gladstone really has no money but he does win something that he decides
to use for his present. It is a great gift, but Donald comes up with a better
one and it’s FREE! I wonder what it is.
Donald
caught up with Gladstone Gander outside the Sniff of Success Perfume Shop.
Gladstone couldn’t resist teasing Donald.
"Fancy
meeting you here, Donald. I was just trying to decide what to give Daisy for her
birthday- a diamond bracelet, a 100carat Chocolate Bonbon, or a bottle of Liquid
Gold, the Perfume Too Expensive to Wear," said Gladstone gleefully.
