You may not have heard of these books but they are truly wonderful. They are written and illustrated with photographs by the one and only Fred Rogers of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. He has written over 40 books that are available on Amazon.com and price under $7. His "First Experience" series are marvelous and are books to read together with your parents. Titles include:

    Going To The Dentist                        When A Pet Dies

    Moving                                         Going To The Doctor

    Going To Day Care                           Going On An Airplane

    Going To The Hospital                       Making New Friends

    Going To The Potty                          The New Baby

As you can tell by the titles, these books are very straightforward and really put children at ease in situations when you are perhaps at a loss for words. Highly Recommended!
