Review:

This is a retelling of the old story about the town mouse who goes to visit his cousin in the city then the city mouse goes to the country. It contains the lesson that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. Any of Jan Brett’s stories are wonderful and as a bonus, she is her own illustrator and her pictures have won many awards and in fact are works of art. These books are a bit expensive but well worth the price. They are keepers. I especially like "Thundercakes."
