Review:

"The Chick and the Duckling" is a very simple first grade book that is fun to read to your parent. The pictures are so cute you may want to draw them as you read along in the book. The baby chick and the baby duckling go out to play together and discover all of the things they have in common, then the duckling dives in the water and they discover there is one big thing they do not have in common! Guess what it is! They stay friends, of course, but they don't go to the pond together anymore.
