Book Review
Review:
Don Freeman has written lots of really cute stories about a
Teddy Bear named Corduroy. In this story Corduroy gets lost in a laundromat while he is
looking for a something he can use to make a pocket for himself. He accidentally gets
mixed up in someone's laundry and has a good time playing snow slide games in the soap
powders until the little girl who owns him comes back and finds him the next morning. This
is a good story and it has great pictures. You can read it by yourself and try to draw the
pictures. Remember, the word Corduroy begins with a "hard" C.
All of the stories by Don Freeman are super. I especially
like "The Guard Mouse."
