James Herriot lives in the countryside of England. He is a Vet. He tells wonderful stories about things that happened to him while he was helping animals.

This book has eight different short stories in it. The one we featured on the TV show was called "The Market Square Dog." It is about a dog who loved to beg at the local market. The dog was hurt in a car accident. Dr. Herriot tries to fix him up, but he still needs nursing back to good health.

To find out what happens, get the book from you school library, or you local community library. I am sure that they will have it there.
